SENTENCES (वाक्य ) How many types of sentences ?

 SENTENCES (वाक्य )


शब्दों का ऐसा समूह जिससे कुछ अर्थ निकले वाक्य कहलाता है।  

एक वाक्य में निम्नलिखित विशेषताएँ होनी चाहिए:

1- इसके शब्दों को उचित क्रम में व्यवस्थित किया जाना चाहिए। यदि शब्द का क्रम सही नहीं है, तो इसका मतलब कुछ भी नहीं हो सकता है, या इसका मतलब कुछ और हो सकता है जो निर्धारित किया गया था; उदाहरण के लिए

1- He is a doctor .                     Affirmative sentences 

2- Is he a doctor ?                     Interrogative sentences 

3- A doctor he is                        No sentences 

4- A he doctor is                        No sentences 

2- यह सार्थक होना चाहिए। इसके तथ्यों को एक उचित क्रम में व्यवस्थित किया जाना चाहिए; उदाहरण के लिए :

भारत राजस्थान का सबसे बड़ा राज्य है।

इस उदाहरण में, शब्द का क्रम ठीक है, लेकिन तथ्यों को उलट दिया गया है, इसलिए यह एक बाधा बन गया है; यह होना चाहिए था:

राजस्थान भारत का सबसे बड़ा राज्य है।

 Types of sentences 

There are five types of sentences ; 

1- Assertive sentences 

2- Interrogative sentences 

3- Optative sentences 

4- Imperative sentences 

5-Exclamatory sentences   

                               ASSERTIVE  SENTENCES 

वे वाक्य जो कथन करते है या सुचना देते है साधारण वाक्य कहलाते है। 
EXAMPLES 
You write a letter .
I am going to Agra.
Assertive sentences दो प्रकार के होते हैं। 
1- Affirmative sentences (सकारात्मक वाक्य ) 
2- Negative sentences (नकारात्मक वाक्य )

Affirmative sentences --- ऐसे वाक्य जिनसे सकारात्मक सुचना प्राप्त होती है उन्हें Affirmative sentences कहते है। 

Examples
1-The earth moves round the sun .
2- She has done her work .
3- you are reading a book .
4- she always speaks the truth.

                        NEGATIVE SENTENCES 

जिन वाक्यों से नकारात्मक सुचना मिलती है ,उन्हें  Nigative sentences कहते है। 
Examples
1- I do not go to school.
2- She does not play here .
3-Lila does not cook food.
4- I go to market.

                         INTERROGATIVE SENTRENCES 

ऐसे वाक्य जिनसे प्रश्न पूछे जाते है।  उन्हें Interrogative sentences कहते है। 
Examples 
1-what is your name ?
2- where do you live ?
3- will you go to market ?
4- Have you done your work ?
इस प्रकार के प्रश्नो में वाक्य के अंत में प्रश्नवाचक चिन्ह ( sign of Interrogation)  ( ? ) लगाना आवश्यक होता है। 
 

Interrogative sentences दो प्रकार के होते है। 

 1-  प्रश्नवाचक शब्द जैसे - who , which , where, when, why , how , who, how many, how much, whose , whom , आदि से आरम्भ होने वाले प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य -- ऐसे वाक्यों में प्रश्नवाचक शब्द के बाद सहायक क्रिया (helping verb ) का प्रयोग होता है। 
Examples  
1- who is your class teacher ?
2- what is your father ?
3- How are you ?
4- What is your name ?
2- सहायक क्रिया (Hel[ping verb) से शुरू होने वाले प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य --
1- are you playing cricket ?
2- Is he a good man ?
3- Do you come here daily?
4- Does he kill the birds ?

                          IMPERATIVE SENTENCES 

जिन वाक्यों से आदेश , विनती सुझाव या प्रस्ताव ,निवेदन  किया  जाता है उन्हें Imperative sentences कहते हैं ?
Examples 
1-Sit down here .
2- Go there 
3- Come here 
4- Please , give me a book . 
Note -  इस प्रकार के वाक्यों में मुख्य क्रिया ( main verb ) पहले प्रयोग किया जाता है तथा कर्ता  (subject) you छिपा रहता हैं। 
    

                              EXCLAMATORY SENTENCES 


जिन वाक्यों से ह्रदय की गंभीर भावनाएँ प्रकट होते है , उन्हें  Exclamatory sentences कहते है। 
Examples
1- Alas ! he is dead .
2- what an idea !
3- How beautiful the rain is !
4- what a shame !
Note - इस प्रकार के वाक्यों की पहचान यह है की इनके  अंत में या बीच में विस्मयसूचक चिन्ह का प्रयोग किया जाता है। 

                      OPTATIVE SENTENCES 

जिन वाक्यों से कोई आशीर्वाद , अभिशाप या कामना ,या इच्छा प्रकट होती है उसे Optative sentences कहते हैं। 
Examples 
1- May our king live long  !
2- May you  live long !
3- May you go to hell !
4- May god help you !

what is sentences ? How many types of sentences ?


A group of words from which some meaning is derived is called a sentence.

A sentence should have the following characteristics:

1- Its words should be arranged in proper order. If the word order is not correct, it may mean nothing, or it may mean something else that was prescribed; for example

1- He is a doctor. Affirmative sentencesTrends

2- Is he a doctor ? Interrogative sentences

3- A doctor he is No sentences

4- A he doctor is No sentences

2- It must be meaningful. Its facts should be arranged in a proper order; for example :

Rajasthan is the largest state of India.

In this example, the word order is fine, but the facts are reversed, so it becomes a constraint; it was meant to be:

Rajasthan is the largest state of India.

 Types of sentences

There are five types of sentences ;

1- Assertive sentencesTrends

2- Interrogative sentences

3- Optional sentences

4- Imperative sentences

5-Exclaimatory sentencesTrends

                               ASSERTIVE SENTENCES

Those sentences which make statements or give information are called simple sentences.
EXAMPLES
You write a letter.
I am going to Agra.
Assertive sentences are of two types.
1- Affirmative sentences
2- Negative sentences

Affirmative sentences --- Such sentences which give positive information are called Affirmative sentences.
Examples
1-The earth moves round the sun.
2- She has done her work.
3- you are reading a book.
4- she always speaks the truth.

                        NEGATIVE SENTENCES

Sentences which give negative information are called negative sentences.
Examples
1- I do not go to school.
2- She does not play here.
3-Lila does not cook food.
4- I go to market.

                         INTERROGATIVE SENTRENCES

Sentences from which questions are asked. They are called Interrogative sentences.
Examples
1-what is your name ?
2- where do you live ?
3- will you go to market ?
4- Have you done your work ?
In these types of questions, it is necessary to put a question mark (?) at the end of the sentence.
 
Interrogative sentences are of two types.
 1- Interrogative words such as - interrogative sentences starting with who , which , where, when, why , how , who , how many, how much, whose , whom , etc. - In such sentences, the interrogative word is followed by the helping verb (helping verb) is used.
Examples
1- who is your class teacher ?
2- what is your father ?
3- How are you ?
4- What is your name ?
2- Interrogative sentences starting with Auxiliary verb (Hel[ping verb) --
1- are you playing cricket ?
2- Is he a good man ?
3- Do you come here daily?
4- Does he kill the birds ?

                          IMPERATIVE SENTENCES

Sentences from which orders, requests, suggestions or proposals, requests are made, are called Imperative sentences?
Examples
1-Sit down here.
2- Go there
3- Come here
4- Please, give me a book.
Note - In this type of sentences main verb is used first and subject you remain hidden.
    

                              EXCLAMATORY SENTENCES


Sentences which express the serious feelings of the heart are called exclamatory sentences.
Examples
1- Alas! he is dead.
2- what an idea !
3- How beautiful the rain is !
4- what a shame!
Note - The identity of this type of sentence is that the exclamation mark is used at the end or in the middle.

                      OPTATIVE SENTENCES

Sentences which express a blessing, curse or wish, or wish, are called Optative sentences.
Examples
1- May our king live long !
2- May you live long !
3- May you go to hell !
4- May god help you !
